After 8 participations in the now classic routes of ALPAMAYO PRO TRAIL RACE, George Batis (tsias.com), took part in the new route of about 12.5 km, which is a pure trail running route with intense climbs, altitude changes, which needs good technique and strength and that goes through the top points of northeastern Parnitha. George finished 4th in the overall standings among 116 runners, and 2nd in the 40-49 category. Most importantly, he was drawn among the distinguished athletes to take part in the Limone Extreme SkyRace to be held on October 19 at the picturesque Limone Sul Garda in northern Italy. It is a 23km race with a positive altitude of 2055, which offers ample views of the beautiful Lake Garda and of course μένα some highly exposed passages that require attention and concentration as well as quite a technical terrain.
